Minh Mang Tomb – Khai Dinh Tomb – Tu Duc Tomb
So, the first stop on our Hue Royal Tombs Tour is the Minh Mang Tomb. This tomb complex is located on Mount Cam Khe, near Bang Lang fork on the west bank of the Perfume River.
Minh Mang Tomb was built from 1840 to 1843 with the effort of 10 thousand workers and well-trained artisans. It offers a balance of nature and structures in an area of 28 hectares with a perfect Feng Shui setting.
After that, we will explore and admire the Khai Dinh Tomb. This is the burial place of the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. It is such a fantastic royal tomb, the most expensive and beautiful one in Vietnam.
Then, we will visit Tu Duc Tomb. You will admire the most poetic royal tomb of the 4th emperor of the dynasty. There are 2 separate areas in this tomb: the second residence of Emperor Tu Duc and the burial area.
Bonus: Last but not least in our Hue Royal Tombs Tour is the Thuy Xuan Incense Making Village. This is a handicraft village where you can experience making the long-stick incense by hand.
