HUE PAGODA—HUE BUDDHIST TOUR
Hue Buddhist Tour is a private tour for people who really love to learn deeply about the Buddhist culture and local life of the monks and nuns, as well as admire the sacred beauty of the most beautiful and famous pagodas in Hue, Vietnam!
Following your request, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hue City. After making sure you wear the polite clothes (to be respectful, please wear the clothes that cover your knees and your chest), we start the Hue Buddhist Tour.
Our first place is the Thien Mu Pagoda—Heavenly Lady Pagoda—one of the oldest pagodas in central Vietnam, from 1601. Of course, our tour guide will tell you why it is called Thien Mu and how special it is in architecture and Feng Shui setting, as well as the ancient love curse.
Unlike other Hue tours, we will take a local dragon boat for 40 minutes along the Perfume River to get to Thien Mu Pagoda.
After that, our Hue Private Car will take us through the forest and village roads to reach Huyen Khong Son Thuong Pagoda. It is a Zen pagoda nestled in a valley between hillsides, surrounded by high mountains and vast pine forests.
Entering this pagoda, you will enter a different world where there are flowers, rivers, forests, and birds singing, as well as a sacred atmosphere.
After that, we will have a vegetarian lunch in a pagoda that was cooked by Buddhist nuns. We will learn more about Buddhist life in Vietnam.
After lunch, we will explore the root pagoda in Vietnam, which is the Tu Hieu Pagoda. It is an ancient pagoda where the Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh stays.
Tu Hieu Pagoda has a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere, and the sound of the daily chanting brings peace for travelers. Our tour guide will tell you how special it is and show you the burial area of the eunuchs of the Nguyen Dynasty here.
At the end, we will drop you off at your hotel in Hue, and we will finish the Hue Buddhist Tour. Hoi An Private Car hopes you have a great experience with us!
