As you know, Phong Nha Caves are the complex of 14 grottoes situated in a region of Limestone Mountains in Ke Bang National Park. Phong Nha Cave have a total length of 7,729 m. It was listed as a World Natural Heritage Site in July of 2003 by UNESCO. The Cham People has used Phong Nha Cave as Buddhist sanctuaries in the 9 and the 10 centuries. DAY TRIP FROM HUE TO PHONG NHA CAVE
At 7:30 am, our local guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hue. And we start the Hue to Phong Nha Cave Tour 1 Day. As you know, the Hue to Phong Nha distance is about 210km and it takes around 4 hours to get there.
Along the way from Hue to Phong Nha cave, we will have a chance to visit some historical places in the DMZ Vietnam such as Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, La Vang Holyland, Vinh Moc Tunnels.
Around 12:00, we get to Phong Nha town to have a lovely lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will get on a boat and cruise along the Son river to Phong Nha Cave. The deeper one penetrates, the more magical are the natural aspects of the caves.
After on boat for 700m, a large dry passage is appear, then you can walk to discover the cave for 500m more. You will have a chance to explore the remain of Cham Altars and inscriptions inside of the Tien Son cave.
