Cu Lao Cham Island Information
Cu Lao Cham is a large island made up of several small islands. It is located about 25 nautical miles off the coast of Hoi An. In summer, tourists can reach the island by different types of boats.
Traveling by a normal boat takes around 2.5 hours. By high-speed boat, the journey takes only about 30 minutes.
There are seven islands altogether, named according to their shape or characteristics. They are called Lao (pear), Dai (long), La (leaf), Kho (dry), Tai (ear), Mo (tomb), and Nom (East wind).
Cham Islands have a good climate, with cool weather all year round. Moreover, fauna and flora are plentiful here, as well as marine life.
On the island, there are precious bird nests, while under the water, the coral is marvelous. Surrounding the island are nice beaches with clean white sand and transparent, cool water.
Cham Island Snorkeling Tour Itinerary
At about 8:00 – 8:30: our local guide will pick you up at your hotel/ homestay in Hoi An, and we will start the Cham Island Snorkeling Tour. We will transfer you to Cua Dai harbor. We will take a high-speed boat to get to Cham Islands.
At 9.00 – 9.25: We arrive the Cu Lao Cham, and it will be the time for you to have a day to relax in the fresh cool wind & enjoy the beautiful landscape on the speed boat to Cham Island.
9.25 – 10.10: Our tour guide will take you to visit some famous attractions on Cham Island, such as Bai Lang, including Au Thuyen, Tay Tang pagoda, and Bai Lang fishing village.
In our Cham Island Snorkeling Tour, we will spend most of the time swimming and to do snorkeling. So, at around 10:10 to 11:10, will will transfer you to Bai Xep for snorkeling.
From 11:10 to 14:00: We will go to Bai Chong to relax, swim, sunbathe, and enjoy a special lunch with fresh seafood.
