This is a traditional craft village with a history of over 200 years. The Incense of Thuy Xuan village was chosen to provide to Hue Imperial City because of their high-quality incenses and frankincenses.
All of the ingredients of incenses from nature, no chemicals so the smell is great and you can use them indoors. The fragrances from sandalwood, cinnamon, and lemongrass, etc.
The fragrance made the river smelled nice so that is the reason why the locals named the Huong River as the Perfume River. You will learn how to make the long-stick incense and you can keep what you made to be souvenirs.
