Visa waiver for citizens of 5 Western European countries from 1st Jul 2015 – This is a great news for all travelers who come from UK, France, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Kingdom of Spain, the Republic of Italy on arrival Vietnam.

The Vietnam Government has issued Resolution No. 46 / NQ-CP visa exemptions (visa) for the citizens of 5 countries: UK, France, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Kingdom of Spain, the Republic of Italy on arrival Vietnam.

Solving problems related to visa is seen as a solution to the demand for tourism in Vietnam.

Specifically, citizens 5 countries will be exempt from visa when entering Vietnam with a stay in Vietnam does not exceed 15 days from the date of entry, regardless of the type of passport, immigration purposes, on the facility meets the conditions prescribed by the law of Vietnam.

This policy was implemented in a period of 1 year from the date 1st Jul 2015 to end on 30th Jun 2016 and will be reviewed, renewed under Vietnam law.

At the regular meeting May 2015, the Government agreed with the solutions to overcome difficulties and develop Vietnam tourism industry by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism projects, including expansion area countries are exempt from visa, visa electron, facilitation of processes and procedures for granting visas.

Since the visa waiver (2014) Japanese visitors to Vietnam increased 2.43 times; from South Korea increased by 3.6 times; from Russia (since 2009) increased by 7.45 times.
